It's a forbidden romance, filmed in the interior of an old building in Milan. Born in the rooms of an old apartment and runs away from the grand staircase. An eighteenth century Milanese home and theater of the intriguing ambiguous liason between a man and a woman. To tell this web of seduction and repentance are a dozen shots from the author. Behind the camera, alternating shots from Alexandro Martinengo and Amilcare Incalza, a couple proven in the international world of fashion photography and art. Pictures, born in a classic set, take final shape with the post production work that's been carried from the fashion to the art world. The story became the subject of a photographic exhibition, on stage in Milan February 20 to 22 in Supertudio 13, Via Forcella 13 at Milan's fashion week. The inspiring subject is Wholegarment by Saverio Palatella, newborn avant-garde project of the Italian designer. For his official debut Milan was chosen as the ideal stage and art photography as its first interpreter. The new collection of knitted dresses of Palatella, contemporary in content and in technologies used, wants to tell each year through a contemporary artistic expression. From which, each time, the most congenial and on the background of international cities that better adapt, from time to time, to host it. "The idea is - explains the designer - to accompany my project, Wholegarment by Saverio Palatella a project of artistic communication, from video art to performance, which in itself has its own meaning. Beyond the spirit of the clothes that somehow wants to interpret ". Wholegarment by Saverio Palatella is a design research project that is a collaboration of the Italian designer, among the most popular performers of knitwear, with Shima Seiki, a leading Japanese company in the production and technology of knitting machines. Its machinery and know-how are used by the largest companies in the international fashion.
Alexandro Martinengo and Amilcare Incalza, internationally renowned photographers have worked together for years, both on set and behind the scenes, in the post production that sees united their signatures to the fashion magazines and image of the most prestigious publishing houses worldwide.
